The teenager injured on Southwest Taylors Ferry Road last night has been identified as 15-year-old Timothy Baranow. He remains in critical condition at a Portland hospital.

Crash investigators have learned that Baranow started to run northbound across Taylors Ferry Road to his home when he was first struck by a westbound 2015 Toyota 4Runner, driven by 36-year-old Peggy Yam. After being struck by Yam, Baranow was struck a second time by an eastbound 2015 Toyota Rav4, driven by 57-year-old Carolyn Smith.

Neither driver was impaired by alcohol or drugs.

The investigation is continuing and, once complete, it will be presented to the Multnomah County District Attorney's Office for review.
